How do I earn Points by referring friends to MyPoints?

You can refer up to 5 friends each calendar month and get 250 Points for each successfully referred friend. How do we define success? We count someone as your friend when he or she hits the 250 Point mark.

MyPoints Members can have up to 5 successful referrals per calendar month.

How soon are Refer a Friend Points credited to my account?

Once your friend has earned at least 250 Points, your referral award Points are credited within 30 days. They'll appear as "Pending Points" for another 30 days.

Why was my referral rejected?

There are a few reasons why referrals might be rejected:

  • The person you referred was already a MyPoints member.
  • The referee has asked not to receive offers from MyPoints.
  • The referee never verified their account.
  • The invitation email didn't work.

Why can't I find out how many Points my friend has accumulated?

MyPoints takes our members' privacy very seriously. We can't tell you about another member's account, just like we wouldn't tell anyone else about your account. If your friend has questions about his or her account, have him or her contact MyPoints Member Services directly.
